Texas hog hunting can be done without a hunting license in September

Local feral hog hunter talks changes to hog hunting law: As the feral hog population continues to grow across Texas, so does the damage they cause. Last week, Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill that will allow Texans to kill the wild hogs without a hunting license. For years, groups like Southern Night Stalkers head out weekly to help landowners. “Farmers have definitely noticed a big impact as far as less crop damage,” said Chet Lindsey with Southern Night Stalkers.
